The art of racing in the rain

It may look like the lead car is trying to block the Flying Lizards Porsche, but more likely the BMW driver is fighting to keep the car on the road. Turn 5c at Mosport is normally a non-issue, a broad left-hander that most drivers barely notice is there; unless, that is, the track is wet. In the rain, turn 5c is possibly the most dangerous corner on the track. When the unaware driver accelerates at the exit of 5b on wet track, they suddenly find themselves heading quickly for the right guardrail. I've never tried this myself, but I've been told that once you've lost it here, there is simply no time to recover. I have witnessed more than one driver trade paint with the guardrail however.
